BACA ran an online session on Thursday 20th April 2023.
In this session, Ben Smith, Diocesan Care of Churches Officer, provided information about the Diocese’s plans to reach Net Zero by 2030, and what churches need to know.
Some Deanery Environment Champions (DECs) shared examples of what has worked for churches in the Diocese, and how the network of DECs and Parish Environment Contacts can support churches on their journey.
Practical guidance about LED lighting was given.
The session also included some discussion with those attending about the challenges they have faced and are facing.
A youtube video of the meeting is here.
